Root canal treatment is now a painless procedure thanks to modern anesthesia techniques and rotary instrument systems. Effective local anesthesia is applied before the procedure, and the patient does not feel any pain during the process. Mild sensitivity returns to normal within a few days after the procedure.
Professional teeth whitening procedures do not harm teeth when applied under dentist supervision and in appropriate doses. The materials used in our office and home whitening options are FDA approved. Temporary sensitivity after the procedure is normal and subsides shortly.
Implant treatment is usually completed in 2-3 sessions. In the first session, the implant screw is placed in the jawbone and a 2-3 month healing period is expected. After this period, the upper structure (crown) is prepared and placed in the second session. Depending on bone structure, single-session (immediate loading) implants are also possible in some cases.
It is recommended that children have their first dental visit after the first tooth erupts (6-12 months) or by age 1 at the latest. Early routine check-ups prevent the development of dental phobia in children and enable early diagnosis of potential problems. Veneers can last 10-15 years or longer with proper care. Porcelain veneers are very durable and do not change color. Regular brushing, flossing, and routine check-ups every 6 months extend their lifespan. Avoid biting very hard foods and using teeth as tools.

My professional career and experience
I was born in Izmir in 1988. I graduated from 60th Year Anatolian High School in 2005 and from Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 2010. Between 2012-2016, I completed my specialty program at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Endodontics.
Between 2016-2020, I continued my academic career as a lecturer at Yeni Yüzyıl University Faculty of Dentistry. Since 2020, I have been treating numerous patients at my private clinic in Nişantaşı.
In addition to my specialty in endodontics, I am also interested in aesthetic dentistry, smile design, vital and non-vital whitening, implant-supported prosthetics, and bruxism treatments.
